It’s a Mac World!

January 6th, 2008 · 2 Comments · Apple

Every year comes such a gathering that many wait all year for, the upcoming Mac World Conference & Expo® is around the corner and every smart investor and tech nerd nervously awaits it. If you haven’t heard of it, you’re not alone. Since Apple Inc. controls such a small market share of all electronics (and yes computers), it is possible for this expo to go much under the radar. The only individuals who pay close attention to Mac World are those who pay close attention to the company.

Even with lack of mainstream media covering the events at Mac World, it seems that the products which are launched at the expo take the spot light. For the past few years Steve Jobs (Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Apple Inc.) has done the keynote presentation and presented products that have been closely guarded secrets which have driven the demand for his consumer products. He also charismatically preaches financial outlooks which fuel growth and buzz. Such buzz isn’t merely hype without backing, but rather a structured business plan. Jobs know that by filling the void for new innovative and easy to use products the demand for his products will go steady up. Mac World sets the stage for Steve Jobs to bring fresh momentum to the coming year.

Engadget will cover Steve Jobs Keynote (here is last years) at 9am Sharp on January 15th with minute by minute updates. Also, Daily Talk Tech will do a 24/7 live feed starting January 13th with a ‘Road to Mac World’ type blog from Mac World Bound.
